PROCESS OF MAKING:

Firstly, to start my two perspective art, I have taken my chosen picture and placed tracing paper over it. Then outlined the important lines to create a base. From there I shaded the lines harshly on the other side, this will enable the lines to show clearer when I use the tracing paper to put the outline on a piece of  paper. - The reason we have done all the above is to  create the image on to another piece of paper as you can see below. It makes the process easier and much more accurate when doing the final piece.

I used the tracing paper above to place the outline of the piece on to this piece of paper, it shows an empty and blank hallway leading to a different perspective. This is the original outline of the drawing which will be turned in to my vision. The reason this step took place is because it is the base of the piece. What I will build my new two perspectives on. In my opinion this is one of the most important part of the process due to the significance of the perspective going through.

This is the after-effect of the outline, I have used my own creativity, the images above and Mr. Keys support as inspiration to create a rough sketch of what my final piece will have as a base. Although it is not in colour, the positioning and drawing of each detail will be a big help when creating the last piece. I have shown the "healthy" forest at the front, sky and sides. But the real story is the helicopter and the dying forest in the back, this is the hidden message. That no matter how perfect it may look, the details will uncover another side. The reason this step was done is to clarify and give evidence what my final peice would look to some extent like.

After finishing the rough draft above, I recreated the it on a new clean sheet of paper. From there I started colouring using techniques we learnt in our colouring and blending lesson we had a couple lessons back. In the image you can see it isn't complete but I thought it was significant to see what the process looked like throughout creation. Not just showing start and finish. The reason this part is also important is because you can clearly see the difference between healthy and dead trees. Showing a sad but true vision.

Lastly, this is my final product, the outcome of the entire process. Since the last image before I have finished colouring entirely and blended the majority of the piece. You can clearly see the two stories, the healthy forest versus how it is treated in the back. Not only does it represent what I stated before but I believe it could also show life; due to the bad and good balancing out throughout your experiences, like ying and yang.

What went well?
- The vision of two stories compiled in to one image.
- The realistic form of the many shades in the trees.
- The message given from the piece as stated above.

Even better if:
- The green grass on the floor of the forest had more shades and dynamic.
- Where the trees and grass met, there could be better realism to real life.
- More symbolistic images, e.g: the helicopter shows how the damage may have taken place in the forest. I could have added animals or other objects of an healthy forest, vice verse for the other side of the story.

Overall, I believe I tried my best in the art piece but I also imagine I can full-fill the 'even better ifs 'I have stated above. They could enhance and give more meaning to the image and the message conveyed.
